FAQ’s

Q: Where do you provide therapy?

A: Depending on location and time preference, therapy can be provided in your home, daycare, school, or via telehealth. If you are unsure of the best service delivery model, this can be discussed at your first appointment.

Q: Do you offer consultations?

A: Yes!  We are pleased to offer free consults to discuss any concerns you might have.  A consult will include speaking with the clinician in regards to your concerns and then discussing available next steps. At times, a consult might include a screener, if necessary.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: At this time, we are unable to accept insurance.  As our practice grows, we are exploring options for accepting insurance in the future. We do offer Superbills for parents to pursue reimbursement independently, if they wish.

Q: I have an evaluation from another clinic, do I need another evaluation to receive services from Heights Speech and Language?

A: No, if the evaluation is current and the goals are still appropriate, we are happy to continue services. We may conduct some informal testing to ensure that appropriate services are being administered.
